Holiday Services 2025
Advent
Advent is celebrated in our Sunday morning worship services over the four Sundays before Christmas Day.
Hope of the Nations
The coming of the Messiah was long anticipated. But when he arrived, Jesus wasn’t quite what anyone was expecting. During this Advent season, we reflect on the ancient hopes and how they are fulfilled in Jesus, in ways different and deeper than we had imagined.
Holiday Grief Service
Sunday, December 21
5:30 -6:00 pm
The Holiday Grief Service is intended to minister to anyone who has experienced a loss that they are grieving, whether that is a person, a job, their health, some future possibility they were dreaming about...whatever! It is intended to be a gift, not requiring anything of those who attend.
It can be particularly hard to be grieving in Advent and Christmas time when everything is presented as merry and bright. We hope this service of scripture and song will be a place to acknowledge your grief.
The service is open and accessible to Christians of any background or tradition.
Christmas Eve Service
Wednesday, December 24
6:00 -7:00 pm
The Christmas Eve Service is a celebration of Christ's birth—the culmination of the Advent season.
It is an intimate evening service with scripture and carols, and we welcome all followers of Jesus to celebrate communion with us. We close the service by singing carols by candlelight.
The service is open and accessible to Christians of any background or tradition.
Service of Christmas Carols
Sunday, December 28
10:30 - 11:30 am
We spend four weeks in advent focusing our worship and singing songs about Christ's coming, and have a much shorter time frame to sing Christmas songs. This first Sunday of Christmastide we will be singing a lot of them!
